Being a peacemaker is hard work. Downplaying others faults and really looking at your own, not getting defensive, doing what's best for the other person. I know it's worth it in the end, but this is really hard.
It is tough but I think it's SO much more freeing! Getting defensive, magnifying others faults, and not making peace takes SO much energy. It's sad too because it causes rifts in relationships.
Guess that's why God says, 'Blessed or HAPPY are the peacemakers'. And it's probably why He then says that peacemakers will be called 'God's children'. When I am a peacemaker, minimizing others faults and maximizing my own, I feel so close to God and there is much healing and happiness in my relationships. Thanks for the reminder!
Oh and by the way you are SO over your limit for time away. I miss seeing you around!!
