Where's the joy?

I was talking to my mom today about all the loss and change that has been happening in our lives in the last year and a half and how much I have grown from it. Then I came to this realization - I've grown, but I've also lost the joy. I'm less joyful now than I used to be. Less positive. And that's really just not acceptable. But how do I get the joy back??

I remember years ago my dad telling me that when your car is out of fuel it's time to "refuel" it. And when you're out of joy it's time to "rejoice." It's an action. A verb. Sometimes it's something you have to make yourself do, even when you don't feel like it.
Hab.3:18 says "Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will JOY in the God of my salvation." You also need to keep in mind that this has been a long, rough year of heartache and changes in your life and Jesus loves you so much and wants your JOY to be full. I love what Zeph. 2:17 says; "The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."
Isn't that an amazing picture of God's love, that he loves Christine Salliby so much that he rejoices over you with singing!!!!
Just wanted you to know that you are loved and I'm praying for you today :)
